Been here in July but missed the milky way. Came again, this time the time was right, but fog overtook the view.

It was pitch black and freezing, after a while the fog got thin and there- the three mountains, Bromo, Batok, and Semeru- appeared, blowing some steam with milky way on the background.

Felt wonderful!
