My first stay in Banyuwangi, a little town in east Java. I used to pass by this town when we were on our road trip to Bali with my parents took turn driving our Citröen GS, many years ago.

I was in awe with the beauty of this town, so many interesting places to visit. We went to Baluran, a conservational forest, which reminded me a lot to Africa, based on documentaries and films I have seen. What a ‘wildlife’ experience!

Then yesterday we did midnight trekking to Ijen crater. The sulphur mine on volcanic mountain. I enjoyed it, challenging.

Loving our stay, the hotel we were staying, Dialoog. Great view, reminded me with French Riviera, again- based on what I had seen in TV, also great staff and service.

Will definitely come again.
